Mystery Graphic

Took me about 10 minutes to throw together in illustrator, but I still think it's kinda cute! I'm starting to love making little vector images. (this was a rush job to be the graphic for a newsletter article about a judge who loves mystery novels)

Iowa Judicial & Nominating Magistrate Appointing Commission

Two ideas for this commission's site. I'm really digging this color scheme right now. Probably because we're on the verge of spring. I actually got text before I started on this design, which is nice. Much easier to design based on the content when you actually have it. Who'da thunk?

Judicial Qualifications Website Design

concept five (made to round 2)

concept six (selected piece)

Five Hours Later . . .

I decided not to go this route, which sucks, because the image is made up of all letters. Oh well.

Judicial Vector Art?

They wanted a way to tie stuff together, so I illustrated the cover page image.

Graphic Design II Project 1

Interesting idea I'm trying courtesy of Chris Spooner. We are creating a set of four postcards to solicit ourselves as designers and give a message about graphic design. I'm basing my designs off of a designer project of creating wallpapers of what they think design is. My themes will be about design in typography/print, photography, web design, and video/animation, done with a very textural, hand-drawn feel.

Logo Design for Judicial Qualifications Commission @ Iowa Judicial Branch

For the past two months at work, I've been designing a logo and website for two commissions. The first is the Judicial Qualifications Commission, which reviews complaints against judges. Here's been my logo design process.
